Quarterly published in print and online "Inventi Rapid: Civil Engineering" publishes high quality unpublished as well as high impact pre-published research and reviews catering to the needs of researchers and professional engineers. The journal deals with multidimensional aspects of civil engineering including Coastal and Harbor Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Highway Engineering, Railroad Engineering, Structural Engineering, Surveying and Geo-Spatial Engineering, Tunnel Engineering etc.
The road transportation is very important network for any country. But now a day’s most of the cities are facing same problem which is traffic and congestion in urban area. And there are limitations to expansion further road due to less arability of extra land. In that kind of condition the traffic management can be done by reversible traffic lane. Contraflow reversal of lanes in order to temporarily increase the capacity of congested roads can effectively mitigate traffic congestion during rush hour and emergency evacuation. However, contraflow lane reversal deployed in several cities are designed for specific traffic patterns at specific hours and do not adapt to fluctuations in actual traffic. Motivated by recent advances in autonomous vehicle technology, we propose a framework for dynamic lane reversal in which the lane directionality is updated quickly and automatically in response to instantaneous traffic conditions recorded by traffic sensors. We analyze the conditions under which dynamic lane reversal is effective and propose an integer linear programming formulation and a bi-level programming formulation to compute the optimal lane reversal configuration that maximizes the traffic flow. In our experiments, active contraflow increases network efficiency by 72%. The study involve an implementation of reversible lane as a method by which traffic flow carrying capacity is increase and traffic jam density is decrease. For that various type of data are needed which: traffic volume, delay time, accidents survey, spot speed study, traffic conflicts, fuel consumption and environment factor are needed to study about it....
Plastic waste is a non-biodegradable waste which cannot decompose and this creates water, land pollution and air pollution. Also, while we burn the plastic waste in dumping ground, the percentage of plastic waste is increasing rapidly. It is estimated that the plastic waste will double after a decade as we use hundreds grades of plastic in our daily life. We can recycle, reuse the plastic waste. The present study makes a critical review of some of these findings and gleans some common useful trends in the properties reported in these studies. The study also presents results of experimental work on bricks made of non-recyclable waste thermoplastic granules constituting 0 to 20% by weight, 4 kg of fly ash, cement and sand making up the remainder. The bricks will then be tested to study the compressive strength, efflorescence and water absorption. In this study, recycled plastic waste has been introduced in melted form. The replacement of plastic waste material has been done by weight....
